According to the Anderson County Coroner’s Office, emergency responders were dispatched after Anderson County 911 received a call at approximately 6:30 p.m. reporting a serious motorcycle wreck in the Pelzer area. When first responders arrived, they discovered Mr. Cantrell had suffered critical injuries and was unresponsive at the scene.

Despite immediate response efforts, he was sadly pronounced deceased at the location of the crash.

Preliminary findings indicate that Mr. Cantrell was traveling along Campbell Road when he lost control of his motorcycle. The vehicle reportedly veered off the left side of the roadway before he was ejected. Officials confirmed that he sustained multiple traumatic injuries, which proved fatal.
