28-Year-Old Duncan Man Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash in Greenville County

A 28-year-old Duncan man lost his life Wednesday night following a single-vehicle crash in the Greer area, according to officials with the Greenville County Coroner’s Office.

The victim has been identified as Michael Jaylen Coleman, 28, of Duncan. Authorities say the fatal collision occurred at approximately 9:25 p.m. on June 2 near the intersection of East Main Street and Wade Hampton Boulevard in Greenville County.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene after receiving reports of the crash. Upon arrival, first responders discovered Coleman as the sole occupant involved in the collision. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the Greenville County Coroner’s Office, Coleman suffered fatal blunt force injuries as a result of the crash. Officials have ruled his death accidental. An external examination was scheduled to be conducted as part of the ongoing investigation.
