Victorville Shooting Under Investigation After 19-Year-Old Woman Found Fatally Shot in Eagle Ranch Community

VICTORVILLE, Calif. —Authorities have identified the victim of a deadly shooting that occurred Sunday morning in Victorville’s Eagle Ranch neighborhood as 19-year-old Anysha Mott of Victorville. The incident has prompted an ongoing homicide investigation by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department as detectives work to determine what led to the fatal violence.

According to officials, deputies responded at approximately 11:27 a.m. on June 14, 2026, to the 12000 block of Osprey Lane near Mesa Linda Avenue following reports of an assault with a deadly weapon. The call led law enforcement into a quiet residential area that would soon become an active crime scene.

When deputies arrived, they discovered Mott lying in the roadway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Witnesses in the neighborhood reported hearing several gunshots shortly before she was found. Residents described a sudden and alarming scene that unfolded in broad daylight, prompting an immediate response from emergency personnel.

Deputies began providing life-saving measures at the scene until paramedics arrived. Mott was then transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Despite medical efforts, she was later pronounced deceased.

Following the incident, detectives with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail responded to take over the case.
